26. Document Converter and Online Tools

Lacude may provide online document conversion and file-processing tools that allow users to upload supported documents and generate files in other formats.

By using these tools, you acknowledge that:

• Converted documents may not preserve every element of the original file.

27. File Upload Rules and User Responsibilities

• Your files do not contain malware, viruses, or intentionally harmful code.

• You will not intentionally overload, disrupt, or misuse the file-processing infrastructure.

Users should avoid uploading highly confidential, sensitive, or legally restricted information unless they understand the risks associated with online file processing.

Ownership of uploaded documents remains with the respective owner.

By uploading a file for conversion, you authorize Lacude to temporarily store, access through its automated processing systems, reproduce as technically necessary, and transform that file solely to provide the requested service and perform related security or operational functions.

This authorization does not transfer ownership of the uploaded material to Lacude.

Lacude may reject, restrict, or remove files where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

28. Temporary File Storage, Downloads and Deletion

Files uploaded or generated through Lacude's document conversion tools may be temporarily stored on the Website's hosting infrastructure.

Lacude uses an automated cleanup system for temporary document conversion files, currently operating on a 24-hour cleanup cycle.

The cleanup cycle does not necessarily mean every file is deleted exactly 24 hours after upload or conversion.

Actual file availability and deletion may depend on applicable retention rules, scheduled cleanup execution, technical conditions, and legal requirements.

Users are responsible for:

• Downloading converted files promptly.
• Maintaining backups of important documents.
• Checking the accuracy and completeness of downloaded files.
• Avoiding reliance on Lacude as a permanent document storage service.

Temporary files may become unavailable or be deleted as part of routine cleanup.

Lacude does not guarantee indefinite access to uploaded or generated files.

29. Video Library and Media Management

Lacude may provide video upload, storage, playback, management, and deletion features to authorized administrators or users with appropriate permissions.

Users who are permitted to upload or manage videos must ensure that:

• They own the videos or have the necessary rights and permissions.
• The videos do not unlawfully infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• The videos do not contain unlawful or malicious material.
• Any required permissions for music, images, recordings, or other incorporated content have been obtained.
• The content complies with applicable law and these Terms.

Video playback may vary depending on browser compatibility, supported formats, internet connectivity, and device capabilities.

Lacude does not guarantee uninterrupted playback or compatibility with every device or browser.

Video Deletion and Trash Retention

Videos may remain stored while active.

When an authorized user moves a video to trash, the file and related records may be retained temporarily before permanent deletion.

The Video Library currently uses a 30-day trash-retention setting.

This retention period applies to trashed videos and does not mean that all uploaded videos are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Actual deletion may depend on scheduled cleanup execution, technical conditions, backups, and applicable legal obligations.

30. User Accounts, Authentication and Security

Certain Lacude features may require an authorized user account. Users with account access agree to:

• Provide accurate account information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Avoid sharing accounts or passwords without authorization.
• Use only the permissions assigned to their account.
• Notify Lacude if they suspect unauthorized access.
• Avoid attempting to access restricted administrative functions.

Lacude may provide password recovery through temporary, time-limited reset links sent to registered email addresses.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with their account.

Lacude may restrict or suspend account access where reasonably necessary to protect website security, investigate misuse, or comply with applicable law.
